One method of till-seeding is mounting the seeder on a subsoiler, it has proved to be a very effective method in many farms
Initially full width broadcasting behind subsoilers established reasonably evenly across the width but by the spring crop in line with the subsoiler tines was outgrowing and smothering out the crop in between
